Track your symptoms, medications, and vitals.

Log a symptom the moment it starts, or days later when you finally have a minute. Backdating is fine. Medications, blood pressure, appointments, all of it stored right on your phone, building into a record you actually have when you need it.

02

One tap. Complete summary.

Walking into an appointment and forgetting half your medication list is the whole reason this exists. One tap generates a summary, built for a doctor, or built for a pharmacist, whichever you're seeing. Not a printout of everything; just what they actually need.

03

Know your genotype. Tell your family.

Genotype and blood group, saved once, always on hand: for premarital screening conversations, for emergencies, for family planning decisions that deserve better than guesswork.

04

We know about agbo.

This app doesn't just track pharmacy medication. Herbal remedies, agbo, anything you've taken. All logged the same way, with the same respect, because leaving it out of your health record doesn't make it not part of your health.

Questions

Is my health information private?

Your health information stays on your phone. Mọ ìtàn mi doesn't upload anything to a server. Nothing is shared with us, with advertisers, or with anyone else, unless you choose to export it yourself to hand to a doctor. That's not a policy promise; it's how the app is built.

Do I need data or Wi-Fi to use it?

No. Mọ ìtàn mi works fully offline. Log a symptom or a medication with no data plan and no Wi-Fi.

Does it diagnose me?

No. It doesn't diagnose, and it doesn't check your medications for interactions either. It records what you tell it, including an illness name a doctor already gave you, so you and your doctor have a clear, honest record to work from, not a guess from an app.

What languages does it support?

English and Nigerian Pidgin at launch.

Can I track herbal remedies, like agbo?

Yes. Herbal remedies are logged the same way as pharmacy medication, with the same respect, not as an afterthought.

Does it track genotype and blood group?

Yes, built into your profile from the start. Useful for premarital screening conversations, emergencies, and family planning decisions.

What's the difference between the doctor summary and the pharmacist summary?

One tap generates a summary built for whoever you're seeing: fuller history and findings for a doctor, current medications and allergies for a pharmacist.

Can I track my child's or parent's health too?

Yes. Family profiles let you track more than one person on the same phone.

Will it remind me about refills and appointments?

Yes. Reminders for medication refills, expiry dates, and upcoming appointments, all handled on your device.

When are you launching?

Privacy policy

Who we are

Mọ ìtàn mi ("we", "us") runs this website, moitanmi.com, and is the data controller for the personal data collected through it. We are based in Berlin, Germany. You can reach us at hello@moitanmi.com.

This policy is written to meet the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

Only what you give us when you join the waitlist:

  • Your email address
  • The date and time you signed up

We do not ask for, and this website does not collect, any health information.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your email address for one purpose: to tell you when Mọ ìtàn mi launches. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form (NDPA section 25; GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). We will not send marketing for anything else, and we will never sell or rent your email address.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

  • Google (Google Apps Script and Google Sheets), which receives and stores waitlist sign-ups
  • Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this website and processes standard connection data, such as IP addresses, for security and performance
  • Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser loads the site's fonts

We do not share your data with advertisers or anyone else.

International transfers

We are based in Germany, so if you sign up from Nigeria, your email address is transferred from Nigeria to the European Union. The EU's data protection rules provide an adequate level of protection for this transfer under the NDPA. Google and Cloudflare may also process data outside Nigeria and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under the NDPA and GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until we have told you about the launch, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. After launch we delete waitlist data that is no longer needed within 90 days.

Your rights

Under the NDPA and GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Have it corrected if it is wrong
  • Have it deleted
  • Restrict or object to how we use it
  • Receive it in a portable format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it

Email hello@moitanmi.com to use any of these rights. We will respond within 30 days. Every email we send also includes an unsubscribe link.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, or to our lead supervisory authority in the EU, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or store anything in your browser.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and the waitlist spreadsheet is only accessible to the Mọ ìtàn mi team. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

The Mọ ìtàn mi app

This policy covers the website only. The app stores your health information on your phone and does not upload it to our servers. The app will have its own privacy policy when it launches.

Children

The waitlist is intended for people aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete their details.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will email people on the waitlist before they take effect.
